Job Overview – Construction Superintendent:

Compensation: $120,000 – $130,000/year + bonus

Location: Chester County, PA

Atlantic Group is hiring a Construction Superintendent for our client in Chester County, PA (On-Site). In this role, you’ll lead daily field operations for commercial construction projects across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. You’ll manage subcontractors, enforce safety and quality standards, and ensure projects stay on schedule. As the primary field contact for architects, engineers, and clients, you’ll drive successful execution from start to finish.

Responsibilities as the Construction Superintendent:

• Field Operations: Oversee daily on-site activities and maintain a safe, organized job site.
• Project Coordination: Ensure work aligns with construction documents, design intent, and quality standards.
• Scheduling & Workflow: Manage project timelines, critical paths, and progress tracking.
• Subcontractor Oversight: Coordinate trades, monitor performance, and address scope changes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact for owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure adherence to all regulations and company policies.

Qualifications for the Construction Superintendent:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of commercial construction field supervision experience with a track record of managing complex builds.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital tools for scheduling and reporting.
• Skills & Attributes: Strong leadership and communication skills with a client-focused, collaborative approach and commitment to quality and professionalism.
• Transportation: Must have reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites across Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.
