How you’ll have an impact at Paula’s Choice: The Creative Director at Paula's Choice will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the brand's visual identity. By setting and upholding powerful and stringent brand guidelines, this role ensures consistency across all marketing materials, product packaging, and digital platforms. Through strategic leadership and innovative creative direction, the Creative Director will drive compelling campaigns that resonate with our audience, elevate our brand presence, and contribute to our mission of empowering consumers with knowledge and high-quality skincare solutions. As Creative Director, a typical day might include a mix of the following: Creative Development: Develop and execute the overall creative strategy for Paula's Choice, ensuring alignment with brand objectives and market trends. Create breakthrough brand campaigns and oversee the execution of all creative needs including site, digital marketing, visual merchandising and retail activations, social media, video, advertising and packaging. Brand Management and Guidelines: Establish strong brand guidelines, and maintain and enforce them to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials, product packaging, and digital platforms. Uphold and evolve the Paula's Choice brand identity, ensuring all creative work reflects our commitment to quality, transparency, and empowerment. Conduct regular audits of brand visuals to ensure compliance with established guidelines. Strategic Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary creative team of 15 servicing all business functions. Collaborate with international creative leads to ensure consistent brand expression. Stay ahead of industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas and technologies into the creative process. Foster a culture of creativity and innovation within the team. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously at a fast pace, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work. Oversee the creative budget and allocate resources effectively. The details: Location: Seattle, Washington Hours: Typical business hours with flexibility required as business needs dictate. Physical requirements: Ability to handle long periods of both sitting and screen time. What you’ll bring to the table: Skills: This role requires a keen eye for detail, a deep understanding of brand identity, and the ability to translate our brand's mission and values into cohesive, compelling creative campaigns across all channels. Ability to think strategically and creatively, balancing both the big picture and fine details. Demonstrate an ability to carry out concept from start to completion. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and other relevant design software. Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Marketing, or a related field. 12+ years of experience in a creative leadership role, preferably in the beauty or skincare industry. Proven track record of developing and executing successful creative campaigns. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative work across various media, with an emphasis on brand consistency. Exceptional leadership, communication, and project management skills. Approximate Salary Range Based on Experience and Location: $150,000- $200,000 USD/annually Paula’s Choice Skincare determines the pay for positions using local, national, and industry-specific survey data.
