Join our team at Michaels and help deliver a world-class shopping experience for our customers! As a Customer Experience Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our Front End operations, ensuring our store meets brand promises, and delivering friendly customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Store Manager in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensuring the execution of company policies and standards.
• Meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) while leading your team to do the same.
• Planning and executing in-store events in alignment with company programs.
• Managing omnichannel processes to enhance customer experience.
• Overseeing shrink and safety programs.
• Supporting cash reconciliation and bank deposits.
• Assisting in inventory activities such as Return to Vendor (RTV) and Advance Shipping Notice (ASN) as needed.
• Participating in the onboarding of new Team Members and supporting their growth through training and coaching.
• Serving as Manager on Duty (MOD) when needed.
• Engaging with customers in a respectful and positive manner, promoting the organization's vision and values.
• Helping customers find products and providing solutions to their needs.
• Participating in truck unloading and stock processes to maintain store standards.
• Cross-training in Custom Framing selling and production.
• In stores without a Framing Manager, leading the delivery of custom framing solutions and managing the workload effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in retail management is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time and move throughout the store.
• Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
• Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves using ladders or similar equipment.

This position will primarily be in a public retail store setting, catering to customers in a climate-controlled environment, with some outdoor tasks associated with retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. The role may require work during nights, weekends, and early mornings.
