Job Description

A well-established mid-sized law firm located in San Francisco's Financial District is seeking an experienced Executive Legal Assistant to join their team. Known for its professional yet collegial environment, this firm offers a rare combination of meaningful work, long-term career development, and true work-life balance-with only three in-office days per week and the remainder remote.

This role will support one Managing Partner in a blend of administrative and legal duties - experience handling litigation tasks as well as heavy administrative/travel/scheduling duties is a must.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of court filings, including e-filing in both State and Federal courts

  • Coordinate and maintain attorney calendar including handling travel arrangements and meeting coordination

  • Work as a communication hub with firm department heads in event coordination, firm initiatives, and other operational campaigns
  • Assist with time entry and billing processes

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience supporting a high-level partner/counsel

  • Strong knowledge of court procedures, rules, and calendaring requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to handle e-filings independently

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
