Job Description

We are looking for a full-time Farm and Residence Manager to oversee the operations of a hobby farm and sizeable residential property. The role involves primarily outdoor work, including coordinating maintenance tasks, liaising with contractors, mowing, trimming, and ensuring the upkeep of the property and equipment. Additionally, the manager will help prepare for 2-3 fundraising events held on the properties annually.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day activities on the hobby farm and residential property.
• Coordinate any necessary contractors for specialized tasks.
• Maintain and operate lawn and farm equipment, boats, barn, ponds, and wildlife food plots.
• Perform exterior property maintenance, including tree and brush clearing.
• Assist in preparation for fundraising events on the properties.
• Ensure the smooth operation and cleanliness of the properties.
• Handle general maintenance tasks as needed.
• Assist in equipment maintenance; experience with tractors and skid steers is a plus.
• Uphold safety standards and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management and outdoor maintenance.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of lawn and farm equipment.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience with tractors and skid steers is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Located in the Lee's Summit / Raymore area, or willing to commute.
