A FedEx Utility Worker's role is to work at the FedEx yard at the airport performing a variety of duties based on business needs as dictated by the FedEx contract. Learn about our culture! Click Here to Hear from our Associates! Responsibilities may include one or more of the following, but will not be limited to: Escorting FedEx Vendors and Employees throughout the airport Hub. Miscellaneous janitorial work. Checking and changing oil on FedEx vehicles Rebuilding dolly wheels. Communicating effectively and professionally with both FedEx associates and TSA Agents while performing needed job duties. Requirements: High School Diploma preferred (Associates degree in related field is desired). 3 months of similar experience required. Must be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner. Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team. Must be a self-starter and willing to take the initiative, able and willing to work without direct supervision, and be willing to attend appropriate training sessions. Must possess a mechanical aptitude. Must possess good oral and communication ability.
