Service Lines Hiring

• The Cardiothoracic Service Line: Focused on cardiac, pulmonary, and vascular patients, offering innovative therapies and cutting-edge treatments.

We’re passionate about your growth throughout your nursing journey. Our competitive career ladder starts with Professional Staff Nurse and leads to Expert Nurse and beyond. The minimum pay for a non-BSN Professional Staff Nurse is $34.25/hour .

Qualifications

• ASN Required. BSN Preferred.
• Completion of UPMC Student Nurse Internship Program or clinical transitions course preferred.
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary for patient care across various ages.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with patients and staff.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for patient care.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances

• Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse required prior to program start date OR a Temporary Practice Permit with commitment to take the NCLEX within four months.
• CPR certification based on AHA standards required within 30 days of hire.
• Act 34 Criminal Clearance.
• Basic Life Support certification.
