Technical Recruiter @ Seneca Resources | Bachelor of Business Administration A government client seeks a skilled technology consultant to align technologies with organizational goals and optimize the use of existing systems and processes. This role demands strong analytical skills, extensive technical knowledge, and the ability to understand how technology supports organizational objectives. A solid understanding of the technologies used and their application is essential. Responsibilities: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with all stakeholders, ensuring a high level of service, responsiveness, and overall success of stakeholder-driven business and technical strategies. Support technical staff in managing all aspects of IT design, implementation, administration, and support processes to guarantee the availability, operability, and stability of all technology assets. Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and technology development teams. Attention to detail is crucial for stakeholder satisfaction. Translate stakeholder requirements into actionable technical specifications. Provide proactive onsite and virtual technical consulting support. Offer strategic advice (within established guidelines) on using technology to achieve organizational goals. Support IT initiatives and collaborate with technical staff and liaisons. Serve as a technology expert and consultant, developing and proposing solutions that meet the technology and business needs of new initiatives, focusing on hardware capabilities, software requirements, and systems integration. Assist and consult on new technology implementations. Train support staff on new and existing IT solutions/systems as needed. Provide assistance with technical issues. Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements. Collaborate with other technology teams to analyze business needs, implement solutions, and provide technical product support. Required Skills: Extensive experience as a technical consultant in an IT-related field. Advanced knowledge of hardware and software solutions, network and server maintenance. Ability to conduct in-house training to enhance end-user proficiency. Ability to stay current with IT trends and innovations. Desired Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, and presentation skills. Ability to work effectively and contribute as a team member. Strong problem-solving skills; ability to assess a problem and determine an effective course of action. Experience Level: Minimum of 10+ years of IT consulting experience. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the technology field with deep hands-on experience. Minimum of 8-10 years of experience supporting technology infrastructure. Minimum of 5 years of experience with virtualization platforms. Detailed knowledge of enterprise-level operating systems (including server and desktop versions), messaging systems, productivity suites, and directory services. Experience supporting and knowledge of common desktop operating systems. Setup, operation, and troubleshooting of network protocols. Thorough knowledge of desktop and business/technical support systems. Experience with VoIP and network security is a plus. Experience troubleshooting carrier and various connectivity issues for traditional and IP-based networking, including network fundamentals and routing protocols. Clearance: Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance Education: BSc/BA in computer science, IT, or a related field; MSc/MBA in business is a plus.
