Summary/Objective:

The Colt Group is seeking a highly motivated individual who values a company that emphasizes quality and integrity. This individual will be heavily focused on new lead generation to support Colt’s growth goals. The successful candidate must be familiar with the Pulp and Paper, Power Generation, Chemical, Petro-Chemical and Refining industries. The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for effective and critical communication between the sales organization, our operations team and our customers.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Support the sales team and SVP of Sales by fielding and distributing inbound leads
• Creating new leads through outbounds calls and emails based on a distribution list
• Data entry into SalesForce to track all qualified leads
• Utilize prospecting tools and data such as LinkedIn and Industrial Info Resources to come up with the new leads
• Target and communicate with dormant accounts/customers with the intent of turning them into leads
• Work closely with the team of Strategic Accounts Managers to qualify and hand off leads with the objective of converting them into customers
• Willing to assist Strategic Accounts Managers including site visits, meeting with customers and assisting with data entry.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

• Minimum 2 years successful industrial or technical sales, Industrial Leak Seal experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to effectively communicate with all levels up to Plant Managers and CEOs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Highly driven, self-motivated and organized. Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to working with different personalities and environments
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check in compliance with our safety program.
