5th On Main located in beautiful Hopkins Mn is seeking an experienced Leasing Agent.

A Leasing Agent/ Administrative Assistant assists the Property manager in showing the property units in a professional manner, as well as explaining the features and amenities included. They advertise units using various media sources. They will also prepare lease documents and screen potential residents. An individual in this position will be expected to perform additional job-related responsibilities and duties as assigned and/or necessary.

Part Time: Saturdays 12pm - 5 pm, Mon - Fri 9 am - 1 pm or 2 pm - 6 pm (25-30 hours a week max)

Pay starting at $20 - $25 per hour depending on experience.

Requirements:

Daily duties

  • Daily tasks are done timely and consistently.
  • Work office as directed by Property Manager
  • Open Outlook and follow up on emails.
  • Update and maintain accuracy of availability on listing websites.
  • Review messages in outlook to keep inbox clean.
  • Retrieve messages from voice mail and call back leads.
  • Answer the phone with our scripted greeting.
  • Maintains Inventory control of supplies needed for office and cleaning of property.

Data Entry

  • Update all rosters and new resident information.
  • Set up new tenant files for future residents.
  • App folio data entry as directed by Property Manager

Opening & Closing the Office

  • Directed by Property Manager during the work week.
  • Saturday leasing office hours.
  • Follow up on leads, clean up existing resident folders and file documents.
  • Provide receipts for rent and secure cash & checks for deposit in safe.

Communication

  • Communicates to Property Manager daily through email recap at end of shift.
  • Document necessary information in Outlook for follow-up if covering the office while Property Manager is out.
  • Assist in communications to residents with monthly newsletter and happenings.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook
  • Must be approachable with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Familiar with posting on Apartments.com (preferred not required)
  • Familiar using App Folio (preferred not required)

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must pass a background check.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing/walking.
  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
