Licensed Customs Broker

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Licensed Customs Broker to join a leading global logistics provider. In this role, you will oversee customs clearance processes, ensure compliance with international trade regulations, and support the efficient movement of goods worldwide. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage customs clearance processes for import and export shipments.
• Prepare and submit entry filings through CBP’s Automated Broker Interface (ABI) .
• Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) , FDA, USDA, and other regulatory agencies.
• Communicate with government agencies, importers, carriers, and clients to resolve clearance issues efficiently.
• Stay updated on trade laws, customs regulations, and tariff changes to provide expert guidance.
• Maintain accurate records of all customs transactions and audits.
• Provide training and support to internal teams on customs compliance and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Valid U.S. Customs Broker License (required).
• 2+ years of experience in customs brokerage, freight forwarding, or international trade.
• Strong knowledge of HTS classification, free trade agreements, and customs valuation .
• Proficiency in ACE, ABI, and other customs clearance software .
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments, deadlines, and regulatory complexities.
