Job Description

Nesco Resource has a client that is seeking a Design Checker to verify fabrication drawings for pressure vessels, piping, and structural steel, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ASME and industry standards. This role involves verifying designs against project specifications, ASME code requirements, and customer standards, while managing drawing organization and issuance for approval and fabrication. Key Responsibilities: Check pressure vessel, piping, and structural drawings for accuracy. Ensure compliance with ASME Section VIII DIV.1/2, AISC, and customer specs. Use AutoCAD and Inventor for design validation. Issue drawings for approval and fabrication. Manage multiple projects and support design reviews. Qualifications:

• Proficient in AutoCAD & Inventor.
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols, ASME codes, and fabrication processes.
• Experience checking complex mechanical and structural designs.
• Detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
