Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG welding on various metal components and structures
• Operate welding equipment and tools such as stick welders, plasma cutters, and hand tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Ensure welds meet quality standards and specifications
• Conduct inspections and perform necessary repairs or adjustments
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively

Requirements

• Proven experience as a MIG Welder or similar role
• Proficient in MIG welding techniques and processes
• Knowledge of other welding techniques such as stick welding is a plus
• Familiarity with duct-work, pipe threading, and soldering
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to operate a crane for lifting heavy materials (if applicable)
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
