Job Description:

Disinfectant Solutions of Atlanta is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated Driver to join our vibrant team. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to keeping Atlanta's public transit system, specifically the Marta stations, clean, sanitary, and welcoming for all passengers. As a Marta Driver, you will play a key role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of various Marta transit locations, ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for the commuting public.Please note, this is not a remote job. The selected individual will be required to work on-site at designated Marta stations across Atlanta, engaging directly in physical cleaning and maintenance tasks. This role demands a high level of commitment, reliability, and enthusiasm for improving communal spaces.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and orderly environment across all assigned Marta stations.
• Perform routine cleaning which includes, but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, and dusting surfaces.
• Engage in deeper cleaning tasks such as pressure washing and intensive sanitizing of common areas and high-touch surfaces.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris to ensure cleanliness both within and surrounding Marta stations.
• Monitor and report any necessary repairs or replacements as noted during cleaning activities.
• Replenish supplies such as bathroom essentials and ensure sanitation dispensers are filled and functional.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
• Coordinate with other custodial staff and report directly to the facilities supervisor to ensure comprehensive coverage of all assigned areas.
• Stay informed on the best practices in cleaning and maintenance of public transit facilities.

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE OWN VEHICLE WITH HITCH AND TRAILER
• Proven experience as a custodian, janitor, or in a similar role focused on cleaning and facility maintenance.
• Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting, pushing, and pulling required cleaning equipment.
• Detailed knowledge and skill in using industrial cleaning equipment and substances.
• Strong organizational skills and the capability to multitask effectively.
• Reliable transportation and flexibility in work hours to cover various shifts if necessary.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with coworkers and the general public.
• Background check and drug screening as part of the pre-employment screening process.
