Job Details

We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. This role is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a thriving medical practice that prioritizes the oral health and overall well-being of children. As a Pediatric Dentist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive dental care for infants, children, and adolescents, including those with special health care needs. This position requires a candidate with a strong background in pediatric dentistry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive oral health care that includes the following: preventive dental care, dietary recommendations, and use of fluoride and sealants.
  • Diagnose and treat dental decay, oral diseases, and injuries.
  • Manage dental trauma and emergencies.
  • Educate and counsel children and their parents about preventive dental care, diet, and other aspects of oral health.
  • Conduct oral screenings and risk assessments for infants and children.
  • Develop and maintain a treatment plan for patients with special health care needs.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive healthcare plan for the patient.
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in pediatric dentistry and participate in continuous professional development activities.
Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school.
  • Completion of a Pediatric Dentistry Residency from an accredited program.
  • Current, valid license to practice dentistry in the state (required).
  • Exceptional clinical skills in all aspects of pediatric dentistry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of patients while maintaining high-quality care.
  • Strong commitment to ongoing education and staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in pediatric dentistry.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team, demonstrating professionalism and respect to contribute positively to the work environment.
