Job Title: Pharmacist
Location: Remote (Work from Home), RI 02895
Duration: 6 Months+ (Contract With possibility of Extension)

Pay rate: $54/hr. on W2


Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM (Local Time Zone)
Fully Remote (Work from Home)


Position Summary:
The pharmacist will be responsible for reviewing and completing criteria-based prior authorizations in accordance with policy and procedure. This safety-sensitive role requires a high level of confidentiality and adherence to teleworker privacy practices.


Key Requirements:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD and minimum 2 years experience as a pharmacist.
• Must hold an active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of residence (license number and active dates must be included on the resume).
• Prior experience reviewing prior authorizations or clinical case reviews in a high-volume or production environment.
• Demonstrated ability to multitask across multiple clinical and administrative systems simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, with experience collaborating across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Must provide a screenshot of internet speed test results showing minimum 25 Mbps download and 3 Mbps upload speeds (test at Include internet provider details on the resume.
• Must have a dedicated, private, and secure workspace for work hours with confidentiality safeguards in place.
• Must be able to participate on camera for trainings and meetings.
• Must use a smartphone to download and operate a VPN token.

Telework Expectations:

• Provide your own high-speed internet meeting minimum connectivity standards.
• Ensure work equipment and confidential information are secure and protected.
• Lock or shut down the workstation when away, and ensure no unauthorized viewing or listening during work hours.
• Maintain a stable living environment suitable for telework.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Experience with commercial or specialty pharmacy prior authorization processing.
• Ability to meet SLAs and production targets consistently.
