Responsibilities of the Project Accountant:

• The Project Accountant will manage project billing and invoicing to clients and subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractor paperwork, including waivers, liens, and certificates of insurance.
• The Project Accountant will assist with general accounting and administrative tasks related to construction projects.
• Track project budgets, costs, and expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Provide support for project financial audits and reporting.

Qualifications for the Project Accountant:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred)
• Experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
• Strong Excel skills and knowledge of accounting software.
• Familiarity with project management software, like Viewpoint Vista, is a plus.
• Experience handling subcontractor documentation, including liens and waivers.
