Job Description
Position : Swing Driver – Front End / Roll Off
Pay rate : $26/hr + OT Location : Holland Landing, Canada, Ontario Position Type : Full Time Key Responsibilities:• Operate Front End and Roll Off trucks, following all safety and operational protocols.
• Safely navigate various types of terrain and urban environments.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure truck is in proper working condition.
• Assist with waste collection and disposal as per the route schedule.
• Maintain professional communication with dispatch and customers.
• Complete daily log entries and report any mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and transportation regulations.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience driving both Front End and Roll Off trucks.
• Minimum 2 years of experience driving manual transmission trucks (13-speed and up).
• Must hold a valid DZ and/or AZ driver’s license.
• Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
Additional Requirements:
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
