Role Description

This is a remote 1099 contracting position for a Technology Solutions Consultant at GrayBeck, offering flexible hours starting as low as 10 hours per week , with the potential for occasional client travel (all expenses paid) . The role focuses on designing and implementing software solutions to enhance productivity, support data-driven decision-making, and streamline business operations. Responsibilities include back-end web development , software development , programming , object-oriented programming (OOP) , and developing automation solutions using Excel, VBA, and VSTO .

A profit-sharing arrangement is available for any clients the Technology Solutions Consultant brings to GrayBeck, incentivizing growth and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Excel , including advanced workbook management and automation
• Experience with VBA and VSTO development
• Proficiency in back-end web development and programming
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP)
• Solid computer science and software development skills
• Ability to solve complex problems and think analytically
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Financial background or strong financial acumen (highly desirable)
• Experience in project management and client relationship management
• Interest in business development and contributing to company growth
• Willingness to travel occasionally to meet with clients (all expenses covered)
