Fast-growing clean energy company developing cutting-edge technology is expanding its engineering function and looking to hire a Test Engineer to support the development of its Fuel Cell Systems. This role is critical to ensuring the continued performance, reliability, and validation of their core technology as the company scales

Job Title: Test Engineer – Fuel Cell Systems

Location: Pittsburgh, PA (On-site)

Responsibilities- Test Engineer

• Develop and execute test plans for software and hardware validation.
• Run virtual simulations and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing.
• Validate Human-Machine Interface (HMI) functionality and system behaviour.
• Assemble and configure test setups, including wiring and component integration.
• Monitor large data sets and create dashboards to analyse trends and system performance.
• Support product development by identifying issues and contributing to system improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure quality and reliability of fuel cell systems.

Experience & Requirements - Test Engineer

• 2+ years’ experience in test engineering (preferably automotive, robotics, or clean tech).
• Strong hands-on skills with both hardware and software systems.
• Familiarity with HIL testing, simulators, and system validation tools.
• Comfortable assembling test rigs and handling real-world test execution.
• Strong data analysis and visualisation capabilities.
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• Experience in start-up or agile environments is a plus.
• Interest in growing into a leadership role over time.
