Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Junior Front-End Developer / Quality Assurance Tester to run tests against new and updated pages of the client website and other deliverables, via manual as well as automated methods. Primary responsibilities include executing provided test cases, running tools, writing bug reports, verifying new features as well as bug fixes, and testing web content on supported environments.

Title: Junior Front-End Developer / Web QA Tester

Location: Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: 6+ months (with potential for extension or full-time conversion)

Interview: Onsite

What You’ll Do

• Perform manual and automated testing of webpages, websites, and mobile apps
• Validate UI/UX across devices and platforms (MacOS, iOS, Android, Windows)
• Execute and update test cases, log detailed bug reports, and verify fixes
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure a seamless user experience
• Review HTML/CSS updates to plan and implement relevant test strategies
• Track progress and communicate testing risks with leads and managers
• Contribute to test planning, regression testing, and release certifications

What You Bring

• 2+ years of experience in front-end development or web/mobile QA
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript with a basic understanding of UI functionality
• Hands-on experience in webpage testing, website testing, and mobile app testing
• Familiar with Linux/Unix commands , iOS , browser variations, and rendering engines
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Able to clearly document and troubleshoot issues
• Knowledge of Git and experience with Agile development practices is a plus
• Strong communication skills and eagerness to learn and grow in a team environment

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent hands-on experience
