Job Description

Masis Professional Group is assisting our client in searching for a Bridge Engineer.

The Bridge Engineer is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction, inspection, and maintenance of bridges, ensuring their structural integrity and safety by adhering to building codes and regulations throughout the project lifecycle, from site assessment to construction completion; this includes preparing design calculations, drawings, and specifications, managing project budgets, and collaborating with construction teams and government officials to deliver a functional and safe bridge structure.

Qualifications of the Bridge Engineer:

• Hands-on field inspection on Bridges/Culverts/Tunnels/Retaining Walls.
• Bridge/Culvert load rating for vehicular (truck) and railroad (train) loadings.
• Bridge design on steel, concrete, and prestressed concrete.

Required skills and qualifications of the Bridge Engineer:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis principles, including finite element analysis.
• Proficiency in bridge design software and engineering tools.
• Knowledge of relevant bridge engineering codes and standards (e.g., AASHTO).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage complex projects, meet deadlines, and work within budget constraints.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
• Professional engineering license (PE) may be required depending on location.

Salary Range of the Bridge Engineer:

• Annual salary range is $80,000 to $120,00 based on experience (entry, mid-level, senior) as a structural engineer.
