Innovative People Solutions is looking for a motivated HR Assistant . This an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with multiple companies and learn the intricacies of HR under the guidance of the Principal of IPS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruiting processes, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Process HR documentation such as contracts, onboarding, and benefits enrollment.
  • Support payroll preparation by providing relevant employee information.
  • Assist in organizing training programs, company events, and performance management processes.
  • Handle employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
  • Help in monitoring HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, time-to-hire).
  • Ensure confidentiality of employee information and HR data.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • 1-2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and HR software (e.g. ADP RUN and TriNet PEO).
  • Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices is a plus.
